Guide to Firsts: Feeding your baby solid food

Most first time parents gets nervous when starting solids. But what u'll need to know is how and what to start with. In the ol' days our first solid food was always porridge. But now we have a category sorter with pros and cons explained. Google about it there are tons of info out there.
What I've learned with baby first solids are Traditional Weaning vs Baby Led Weaning. Also known as Spoon-feeding vs Self-feeding.

With so much info to digest, it made me confuse which to follow.

So I decided, heck! I'll do all of it! Give my baby the variety of feeding methods and flavours. I will share with you in the next few posts in details of my baby's first solids and those "oh-so-adorable" moments of my baby hehehe

    1. No problem ^^ and yes alot of research needs to be done. It's a whole new world to unlearn & re-learn all over again in this baby journey but it's more exciting than going back-to-school hehe

    1. Yes agree, actually alot of new parents are still taking baby steps in this. But not many mums I know of that actually research infos on this. Most of them still follow back to the golden days where porridge is the main first solid food for babies and where pollution is unheard of back then. Lots of these info are really new, the look on my mom & MIL face when I explained about Baby Led-Weaning & Puree lolx...

  5. Babies are so difficult to care for @_@
I'm always worried if I'll ever have the patience and the skills to care for them; there's so many things to look out for and they just seem so fragile.
    Great information by the way.

    1. Thanks (^v^) lolx no one said babies are easy to care for hehe but I know some parents that are really really lucky to have kids that are super easy to look after for. I used to worry about having the patience and skills and being mentally/physically prepared to be a MOM... But it's true when they say, when u're a Mom, your Mummy instincts will naturally take over and it's like that special skill is hiding inside us all these while! Hehe but ofcos, no one's perfect. Still got lots to study along the way, taking baby steps and learning with my baby is fun and sometimes tiring but worth it at the end of the day hehe
