Le Bistro 33 in the heart of Taipan USJ

French Italian bistro bar located in the heart of Taipan Business Centre in USJ 10, Subang Jaya. Non-halal, family-friendly, unique and a really cosy place to wine & dine with the whole family!

At first glance, it looks like a bistro or pub. However, Google it up and you may be surprised yourself!

With varieties aplenty on their menu, it makes this place a really beautiful hidden gem to wind down and relax with family and friends in this bustling business centre.

The interior decorations are unique ,yet, contemporary. Unlike most cafés around town, it's not really visible from the outside due to its reflective glass mirrors. Also, due to parking limitations and where it is located at, it can be easily missed unless you were heading to the DIY hardware shop just next door or the 2nd Maybank branch around the corner.

Rest assured, this café is definitely family-friendly as they provide baby chairs and most surprising of all, they provided some LEGO's for my 3 year old to play with. (Although, it could use some really good cleaning because some of the LEGO's has black layers of dirt...)

I ordered the Soupe Au Potiron (RM18) which is harvest pumpkin soup with fresh cream. This one is rather creamy, tender, smooth & sweet. My kids love it the most. Served with cute lil breadsticks.

The food was amazing! Their "Chef Recommendation" is superb!

Succulent Australian green-fed lamb, marinated with house-made BBQ sauce, medium well. The lamb portion is really generous, juicy and THICK! Perfectly grilled medium well, as it was easy to chew and not too tough! I'll definitely recommend this to people to try!

Filet Mignon Au Miel (RM28), pork tenderloin roasted with honey, shallot and served with grilled potatoes. Meaty rich tenderloins with sweet savoury honey shallot gravy over a bed of grilled potato cube wedges. Thankful for the delicious sauce, it blended well with the potatoes and pork tenderloin. The meat is soft and easy to chew however if there was no gravy, it will taste rather dry because it's all meat and no fats.

My mother in law ordered the Spaghetti All'Aglio E Olio (RM18). I would say it looks good and my mother in law finished it which proves that it tastes good too.

My husband ordered the Poulet Roti (RM28). No it's not "roti aka bread"... It's quarter roasted free-range chicken with full flavour. And it's full of flavours alright. Well marinated (to the bone) and roasted to perfection. Tasty at every bite!

We ordered water however I was craving for something more. Hence, I ordered the Lemonade. It's non-alcoholic though. I thought it was a glass of Lemonade for RM16. However, this was to my surprise! A bottle of chilled Lemonade for RM16 served in a wine glass.

I'll definitely be back again to wind down, chillax and enjoy!

  7. I think they have done the presentation quite well. As for me, I have a very big concern about the children toy cleanliness.
